Parenting Class
A 6 to 8 week course. Understanding the childs basic needs, safety needs, and the need to feel unconditional love, Acceptance and approval in an effort create positive self esteem. The curriculum also includes learning how to encourage the child through positive communication skills which includes active listening. Appropriate discipline skills through re-direction, setting boundaries and structure in the home are also taught, with social being to "Break the cycle" of negative parenting.
Anger Management
A 6 to 8 week course. Includes family domestic violence education which consist of understanding how to become self aware by recognizing triggers and gaining skill to maintain self control. Clients are taught to recognize anger as a secondary emotion deriving from other "Underlying" emotions. Clients are taught to recognize that a quick fix (Uncontrolled anger) will have long-term negative consequences. Coping skills to control impulsive reactions are taught which is the focus of the curriculum. An added benefit of instruction is that clients will recognize the underlying reason for anger through processing past trauma, and inappropriate learned behaviours, the cycle of violence and how to "Break the cycle" is also taught.
Project Teen Group
Will consist of Clients learning to process Feelings, which includes Anger Management, Skill Class, Art/Projects, Random Drug Screens, Family Nights, Attending School Meetings upon Request, Snacks and Drings provided.
Individual Therapy
Individual & Family therapy consist of establishing a Therapeutic Relationship of Trust & open communication that focuses on the mental Health of each individual.
